Delta Needs Better Healthcare

Delta families deserve reliable healthcare close to home.

Residents across Delta are facing growing pressure on our healthcare system. Delta Hospital continues to face emergency room closures, while too many residents are forced to travel outside our community to access urgent and primary care.

At the same time, Delta seniors and their families have waited long enough for the Beedie Long-Term Care Centre, a planned 200-bed facility that would provide much-needed care for seniors in our community.

These are not partisan issues. They affect seniors, families and residents across Delta.

That’s why Dylan Kruger and One Delta are calling on provincial leaders David Eby, Lorne Doerkson, and Emily Lowan to provide a clear commitments and timelines on healthcare for Delta.

We are asking all provincial leaders to clearly state where they stand on these critical healthcare priorities.

A New Urgent and Primary Care Centre in North Delta

North Delta needs better access to urgent and primary care close to home. We need a new facility to help meet the growing needs of families and residents in our community.

The Beedie Long-Term Care Centre

Delta seniors and their families deserve answers. The Beedie Long-Term Care Centre has been planned as a 200-bed facility, and Delta needs a clear commitment to getting the project completed.

I believe Delta must:

✔️ Take action to move the Beedie Long-Term Care Centre forward
✔️ Address repeated hospital closures at Delta Hospital
✔️ Improve access to healthcare close to home
✔️ Support all levels of government committed to delivering better healthcare for Delta
✔️ Stand up for Delta residents and the healthcare needs of our community

Delta is growing. Our healthcare infrastructure needs to keep up.
